 FAQs

  • Yes, we encourage you to!

    • Male partners are not permitted. If you'd like your male spouse to be involved in the learning, consider a 1:1 Babywearing Consultation or a Private Breastfeeding Consultation instead.

    • This is strictly a women-only gathering, as we will be allowing mothers to breastfeed openly. Mothers will also be practising how to breastfeed in their carrier.

    • We are a lesbian-friendly community. If your female partner (spouse or girlfriend) is part of your family network and actively involved in caring for your baby, she is welcome to join for an additional fee of SGD 40. 💜

    • Female partners are considered active participants in the workshop.

They take part in group learning, hands-on practice, and guided problem-solving.

This requires additional facilitator time, space, and resources, and partners occupy a full learning slot.

The goal is to equip partners to confidently support breastfeeding and babywearing at home.

    • Yes, you may. Female caregivers (sisters / helpers / grandmothers) require an additional charge of $25 💜

    • Caregivers attend strictly as non-participating support persons.

    • They do not join the group learning, hands-on practice, or Q&A, and no individual guidance is provided to them.

    • Their role is to assist the mother and baby quietly at the side (e.g. settling baby such as diaper changing and coaxing crying child, taking care of personal belongings).

    • The nominal fee covers space, logistics, and venue costs, not education.

  • Yes, of course! Pumping mothers are also breastfeeding mothers. We do have participants who came trying to re-learn latching in the workshop as well.

Take note this session is focused on Latching and Positioning assessment. If you’d like to have a session that fully focuses on pumping, you may consider Pumping 101 Workshop.

  • You are welcome to breastfeed openly in this comfortable and supportive space. However, CCTV from near the high ceiling will remain on for security purposes.

Rest assured that footages will not be shared externally. If you prefer more privacy, a dedicated nursing room without CCTV is available for your use.

  • Yes, there are parking lots within the building premise at Gate 1 and outside the building for roadside parking. At times, it may be limited during weekdays and Saturdays.

Alternative parking is at the building beside, which is about 3 to 5 minutes walk away.

  • No refunds are available. However, you may:

🔹 Transfer your slot to another mother (you'll need to find your own replacement).
🔹 Reschedule for our next similar workshop, held monthly.
